A configurable medical equipment registry, locally or nationally
IASO allows health systems to structure an equipment registry according to their specific needs.
The model can include, for example:
- user-defined equipment types
- customizable attributes (serial number, supplier, status, installation date, photos
- precise equipment location
- associated managers or operational units.
All fields can be added or modified through the administration interface, without additional development.
IASO streamlines medical equipment inventory and monitoring
Each device can be identified using a QR code or a barcode. Field teams can carry out inventories by registering new equipment or by entering updates such as preventive or corrective maintenance, breakdowns, movement or transfer, decommissioning, supplier recalls, or administrative updates. Each type of event can have its own form, its own fields, attachments, and validation workflows.

The full history is stored and accessible through the IASO web application.

Data can be collected offline and synchronized once connectivity is available. This mechanism makes it easier to regularly update registries, even in remote areas with intermittent connectivity.
Seamless integration with existing health information systems
IASO includes an open API that enables smooth integration with existing data warehouses to link equipment and indicators. The tool can also integrate with other systems using interoperability standards such as FHIR (notably the Device resource).
These capabilities support the creation of a harmonized ecosystem around equipment data.
Simplified visualization, supervision, and analysis
Once the data is collected, customized dashboards can be built to meet user needs, such as visualizing equipment distribution on a map, identifying under-equipped areas, or tracking machines that are out of order or awaiting maintenance. All of this can be included in automated reports sent to the relevant teams, allowing them to make critical decisions within the required timeframes.
